Mike West (the Pres.) holding his "Global P47" ARF model. This 56" wing span, fun scale model, is powered by a "Magnum 80" four stroke engine, turning an 11" x 10" prop. It has "Hobbico" retracts and is lots of fun according to Mike. - Administrator (admin)

ark Glanville holding the P47 "razorback" P47. This Top Flight Gold edition kit has a 63" wingspan and weighs 10 lbs. It has "Ultracote" covering which is over-painted with "Lustrecoat" spray paint. The retractable gear is "Robart" 605 pneumatic with Oleo struts. There are 9 servos. The engine is a Super Tigre 90 driving a 3 bladed 13" x 8" Master Airscrew prop. This model is a scale replica of the fighter that Mark's dad flew with the "317 Checkertail Squadron" during WWII. - Administrator (admin)

Ken Safer holding his "Top Flight Gold Edition P40". Ken used 3/32" sheeting instead of the stock 1/8", covered the model with "glass" and after much sanding, spray painted the camo. At 63" wingspan, the P40 weighs 11 Lbs. Engine is a Super Tigre 90 swinging a 3 bladed 13" x 6" Master Airscrew. Built for Warbird Racing, the plane is modelled after "Typhoon McGoon" who flew the type in New Ginnea during WW2. - Administrator (admin)

Chuck Pringle supporting his latest. This is an F4U Corsair by Lanier. (21stCentury series). A very nice model with a Fibre Glass fuselage and built-in fin. The fuselage is "Gel-coat" finished in blue and has panel lines. The wing at 55" span is all wood and covered in "Monocoat". With four servos and a "Saito 72" four stroke engine, 3 bladed prop. (14 x 6 Master Airscrew) it is sensitive but flies nicely according to Chuck. - Administrator (admin)
