We lost some long time members of the club this year. One of those folks, Ken Safer, was a scratch builder of meticulous scale warbirds and other aircraft.
Ken’s widow, Mildred, is opening up the garage this Saturday to sell Ken’s RC collection. There is likely to be several very detailed large scale scratch built aircraft. There are also some .60 sized planes and of course there will be all the related RC items collected over the years that need to find new homes.
His collection resulted from many years in the hobby and is rather extensive. So If you are interested in taking a look, they plan to kick it off at 8:00am and run most of the day.
