This is a gentle reminder to club members that from noon to 2pm on Saturday, May 27th, the main runway will be in use and the field is closed due to use by a visiting drone racing league. These are large FPV multi rotor aircraft which are much easier for spectators to see and keep up with the action as opposed to the very small ones.
The racing group will host a BBQ for everyone at the field. Let’s welcome them and give them the space they need for what should be an interesting event. Our secretary Alex will be overseeing the activities and be the club’s point person.

These folks were nice enough to mow the field and clean up the areas they are using, so please drop by and say hi, and watch the races if you are in the area.
